About Hannah
Hannah is a Senior Accredited Practising Dietitian with over 12 years of clinical experience across hospital, community, aged care, private practice and NDIS settings. She is passionate about helping people feel more confident with food, nutrition and mealtimes through practical, evidence-based and person-centered dietetic care.
Hannah completed her Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics at Griffith University in 2014 before spending six years with NSW Health, working across acute hospitals, rehabilitation and community health care. During this time, she developed broad clinical experience supporting people with a wide range of nutritional needs, medical conditions and functional challenges.
For the past six years, Hannah has worked as a private dietitian supporting NDIS participants, families and support teams. She works with both adults and children whose disability may impact swallowing, growth, weight management, nutritional intake, self-feeding, food variety, mealtime routines or overall health and well-being.
Hannah provides a range of practical supports, including nutrition assessments, tailored meal plans, mealtime strategies, support worker training, guided grocery shops, nutrition education and assistance sourcing nutritional supplements through eligible NDIS plans. She also has a special interest in supporting paediatric fussy eaters, helping families build realistic and positive strategies around food without pressure or overwhelm.
Her clinical experience includes support for people with diabetes, heart disease, renal disease, digestive concerns, allergies, cancer, malnutrition, texture-modified diets and artificial feeding, including PEG tubes.
Outside of work, Hannah loves cooking for her young family using fresh, simple ingredients. This practical approach carries through to her work with clients — focusing on realistic strategies that fit into everyday life.
Food in Focus Dietetics was created to provide empathetic, supportive and patient-focused dietetic care. Hannah’s goal is to help clients, families and support networks feel heard, understood and confident in making nutrition choices that improve health, independence and quality of life.
